What is the hazard with Product Recall: ASDA Hapello Power Train (2608-0111)?

Product Recall: ASDA Hapello Power Train (2608-0111) (ASDA) was announced earlier this year, in the "Toys - Car/Train Sets (Powered)" category. The product presents a risk of choking because a small part (the orange steam dome) may easily detach from the top of the train. This small part poses a choking risk to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.

What should you do if you own this product?

The product has been recalled from end users by Asda. Owners are advised to stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of young children. Owners should return the product to their nearest ASDA store for a refund. For further information, access the ASDA website at: Product Recall: Hapello Power Train Contact the firm directly using the official recall page linked below for the exact remedy steps.
