What is the hazard with Gavoyeat Halloween Light-Up Rings Party Favors?

Gavoyeat Halloween Light-Up Rings Party Favors was announced earlier this year, in the "Other" category. The recalled light-up rings violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the battery compartment within the LED light ring contains button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.

What should you do if you own this product?

Consumers should take the recalled light-up rings from children, stop using the recalled toys immediately and remove and properly dispose of the batteries. Consumers will be asked to throw away the light-up rings and send a photo of the disposed product to recalledgavoyeat@yeah.net. Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures. Sold at: Online at Amazon.com from June 2025 through January 2026 for about $15.. If you bought it somewhere else, the remedy above still applies — contact the firm directly using the official recall page linked below.

How many units are affected?

About About 800 units units of Gavoyeat Halloween Light-Up Rings Party Favors are covered by this recall, according to the official count reported by the firm to the regulator.
