What is the hazard with Squishy Dumpling Toys, Crazy Squib Ball Toys?

Squishy Dumpling Toys, Crazy Squib Ball Toys was announced in the last month, in the "Squeeze or Squeaker Toys" category. The squishy toys violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the water beads inside the toys expand larger than permitted, posing a deadly ingestion hazard. If a water bead is ingested, it can pose ingestion, choking, and intestinal obstruction hazards inside a child's body, resulting in severe discomfort, vomiting, dehydration and a risk of death to a child. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.
